Our Core Values

Core values and philosophy describe the essence of an organisation. At Eden Stirling, these shape our culture, drive our decision making and define our identity, principles and beliefs.

Short Term Accommodation

Short Term Accommodation (STA), including respite, provides temporary care and accommodation for participants who need a break from their usual home or when regular caregivers are unavailable. STA funding covers up to 28 days per year, used flexibly. It includes personal care, accommodation, meals, and activities designed to support participants’ goals — increasing independence and trying new experiences in a comfortable and secure environment.

Group & Centre Activities

Group and Centre Activities offer participants opportunities to engage in a diverse range of structured activities and programs. The aim is to build capacity and develop skills for community, social and recreational participation in a supportive and supervised setting. Participants may join various group-based activities that align with their interests and goals. Engaging in enjoyable activities and social interactions boosts physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Activities can include, but are not limited to:

Participant doing arts and crafts
Activities & Games

Our group programs are designed to stimulate creativity, build practical skills and encourage social interaction. From puzzles and games to cooking and crafts — every activity builds confidence and connection. Participants are supported by our friendly team throughout, ensuring all needs are met with care and enthusiasm.

We provide morning tea, a nutritious freshly cooked lunch, and an afternoon snack as part of our day programs.

Social & Community Participation

Social and Community Participation is designed to enhance social and community engagement through personalised support, fostering meaningful connections, and building independence and confidence. Whether a trip to the shops or other recreational and cultural activities, we are here to support you in achieving your goals and leading a fulfilling and socially connected life.

Support Coordination

Our Support Coordinators will assist you to build the skills you need to understand and use your plan. We will collaborate closely with you to connect with informal community and funded supports and help you navigate your NDIS plan effectively, ensuring that your individual goals are met and your needs are thoroughly addressed. Together, we work towards empowering you to achieve a more independent and fulfilling life.

Coaching & Mentoring

NDIS mentoring helps people living with disabilities work through daily challenges like improving their health literacy, food choices, weight management, personal hygiene and levels of activity. Mentoring also equips clients with the skills and tools needed to achieve personal growth and live independently. Build meaningful relationships and confidently take tangible steps toward your goals, according to each client’s unique needs.
