SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION
Short Term Accommodation (STA), including respite, provides temporary care and accommodation for participants who need a break from their usual home or when regular support systems are unavailable. STA funding covers up to 28 days per year, which can be used flexibly. It includes personal care (matched to your usual level of support), accommodation, meals, and activities designed to support participants’ goals, such as increasing independence or trying new experiences in a comfortable and secure environment. STA gives you the chance to spend time alone or with others, guaranteeing ongoing care.
Our STA Services
As our participants care and comfort are paramount, we serve nutritious food, make sure our facilities are tidy and maintained at a high level of hygiene. You can rest assured that our team is here to attend to any requirements or issues that may arise. We are available 24/7.
All STA participants have full access to communal areas with exclusive access to the 70 sqm BALLROOM via direct entry from the upstairs bedrooms through the grand entrance foyer. Facilities include a kitchenette, library, games area, large screen TV offering multiple streaming services including Netflix and Amazon Prime, sound system, wood heater, dining table, leather lounges and pool table.
All DAY PROGRAMS and GROUP PROGRAMS are COMPLIMENTARY for our STA Participants.
Our Bedrooms
Our Master Bedroom provides over 100 sqm of luxurious comfort and amenities boasting a King size bed, couch, dining table, smart TV with Netflix and Amazon, walk in robe and large double vanity ensuite with spa.
Our Pink and Blue rooms provide Queen size beds with side tables, built in robes with mirrors, occasional chair and desk.
The Green room offers a King single bed, built in robes with mirrors and side table with a lamp.
All our bedding ensembles are manufactured in Adelaide equipped with Premium Range Hospitality mattresses and coverings. Our mattresses are dual layered with completely encased protectors and underlays. Our STA participants are guaranteed
the most comfortable sleeping experience EDEN STIRLING can offer.
All our bedrooms are climate controlled ensuring the cosiest conditions for a good nights rest to wake fresh and energised for the day ahead. 3 bedrooms have access through individual colonial doors to the full length balcony. These are locked unless requested otherwise. Every room is natural light filled providing picturesque views that change throughout the day and with each stunning season.
Eligibility
STA is designed for participants who live with informal supports, as noted under the “Core Supports” budget of your NDIS plan. Exceptions require approval from a Planner, Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or are written in your plan.
